I found an old drawing I did a long time ago, back when I was dabbling in Unreal Tournament 2004 maps. It was the base for a map I called ONS-Canean. When I found it I thought to myself, hey, why don’t I try and realize that design with modern technology. In addition I wanted to explore overcast environment lighting.
In case you’re wondering - yes my young self just misspelt “Canyon” - but now I like to roll with it. This is “Canean Base”, located in the Canean region of some place.
This was also a speed art project, I didn’t want to spend too much time on it so I focussed on efficiency where I could rather than deep levels of detail.
